Get acquainted with Prince Edward Island's beautiful south shore: old fashioned towns, stunning views of the coast, Island farms and a trip to the world-famous Confederation Bridge.
We will begin our tour in Charlottetown, the capital city of Prince Edward Island, before travelling to the south shore. Driving past some spectacular scenery and charming towns along the West River and Northumberland Strait, we will make our way to the Confederation Bridge - a 13 kilometre (8 mile) long bridge which connects Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick and the rest of mainland Canada.
Opened in 1997, Confederation Bridge is the longest crossing over ice-covered waters in the world! You will be able to see for yourself this incredible structure, take some fantastic photographs, and hear the stories behind the construction of our incredible bridge.
After we leave Confederation Bridge and Borden-Carleton behind, our next stop will be Victoria-by-the-Sea:a historic seaside village which is considered to be an artist's paradise. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the village, visit its very own chocolate factory, purchase some souvenirs or take photos of its charming lighthouse.
Finally, it's time to finish our journey by returning to Charlottetown along the gorgeous south shore.
